Yes, it is possible to remove the squeakers.

So you don't want your child to be the center of attention at the wedding! You say, "That's the bride's place." Yes we thought of that and for these occasions, an ADULT using a safety pin or similar device can easily removes the squeakers. When the dancing starts, put the squeakers back in and listen to you child GO!

PLEASE REMEMBER: Squeakers are removable to allow versatility but when removed from the shoes they should be stored out of reach of young children to avoid being a choking hazard.
